Primary area of expertise is in community aquaculture and coastal fisheries management. Have been working in this sector for over 15 years. Assist in improving food security (nutrition) and improve livelihoods of local communities.  Have also worked as program manager for AusAID for 3 years (1996-1999) assisting in the implementation of the aid program in Kiribati.  Have assisted small scale giant clam seacucmber and tilapia (Nile) farmers in establishing their farms (including small scale hatcheries) and setting them up with a basic business plans in order to develop and sustain their businesses. These work has been carried out under the ACIAR Community-based project implemented by SPC.
